Five years in the making, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to own six Colt semi-automatic pistols in serial number 1. The Chateau Thierry was the first gun in the series in 1967, This is the PRIZE of the collection, being master engraved and gold inlaid by Colt engraving legend Alvin A. White. This gun has 3/4 engraving coverage with the gun being personally signed by Mr. White himself in a gold inlaid plate inside of the backstrap. The second gun in the series was the Belleau Wood in 1968, followed by the 2nd Battle of the Marne in 1969 and then the Meuse Argonne, introduced in late 1969. Both of the WWII Commemorative pistols, the European Theatre and the Pacific Theater were produced in 1970.
